Job Summary
Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions and processes, whilst remaining compliant with the SRA Accounts Rules and internal SLAs, reconciling supplier statements and calculating complex payment waives and write offs, excellent excel knowledge and experience is vital. This role plays a key part in being able to work to tight deadlines, ensuring the Finance Department continue to deliver an excellent service to the business.
Core Responsibilities
· Administration of the Purchase Ledger including processing of invoices, payment of suppliers and resolution of queries.
· Conduct extensive investigation into supplier account reconciliations, investigating variances and applying corrections.
· Monitoring and following up any discrepancies and queries.
· To be individually responsible for the accurate reconciling of high volumes of data records, subject to quality monitoring and agreed productivity expectations.
· To work efficiently through data records to reconcile the financial records to contracts.
· Responsibility for processing company credit cards and expenses, including coding and checking they are in line with policy, through to payment.
· Contribute to learnings towards the development of new processes to avoid recurrence of issues.
· Assisting the Account Management team.
· Provide excellent service, ensuring processes are adhered to and business needs and internal SLA’s are met, whilst also focusing on improving efficiencies.
· Build strong stakeholder relationships.
· To undertake any other tasks as deemed relevant and reasonable by the business.
Key Performance Indictors
The following KPIs will apply to you; this list is not exhaustive and may change as the business develops:
· Delivery of accurate payments within agreed timescales.
· Ensure supplier accounts are maintained and risks highlighted through monthly review and reporting.
· Provide regular reporting to management, highlighting any key successes and issues and provide solutions to mitigate those risks.
· Positive feedback from key stakeholders.
You will have regular one-to-one meetings with your line manager to review your performance against these objectives and identify any areas for development and/or required support.
Person Specification
Essential
· Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel and word.
· Good communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.
· Good analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
· Highly organised and able to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
· Ability to act on own initiative - exercising personal and professional judgement to involve others as appropriate.
· Team Player working together to achieve business and team goals, with a willingness to get involved and have a hands-on approach.
· Robust - able to deal with changing circumstances and challenging situations whilst still achieving objectives.
Desirable
· Experience of complex reconciliations and calculations.
· Studying or prepared to study towards AAT.
· Take opportunities to develop and stretch yourself and be passionate about developing your career at Minster Law.

Working Hours
The office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm; the nature of the service we provide to the business may require flexibly working outside of these times.
